A: Yes, all harleys and their clones (american v-twins) have female      heims that are machined 5/16-24 thread. (exception) Some      aftermarket forward controls are machined with male heims,      which cannot be used with our linkages (except the Z linkage      which uses male heims) Q: HOW MUCH TIME AND $ FOR SPECIAL LENGTHS? A: At present, there will be no extra charge for special lengths.     For building and triple plating, allow aprox. two weeks     (excluding delivery). Q: TWO OR THREE BARBS? A: Linkages measuring less than 15"' (see measuring diagram) are        built with 2 barbs. We do not crowd more than 2 barbs into        shorter linkages, because of an overkill in appearance, due        to the heavy rod used for twisting. Q: BARBED WIRE FOR SPORTSTERS? A: Sorry! the barbed wire is not safe for sportsters and therefore      is not available. Q: WHAT ABOUT QUALITY? A: We are continually complimented on the marvelous standard.
